T he chapter on lifecycle management deals with the policies, processes and plans that
the department has to put in place to guide the website management team in
maintain the quality, accessibility security of the website throughout its lifecycle. It
also stresses on the need for dedicated Web information Manager who is a senior
official from the department to head the website management team.
