National Career Service (NCS)

The National Career Service (NCS) is a project initiated by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, with the goal of leveraging technology to bridge the gap between job-seekers and employers. Launched in July 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NCS operates under the motto “Right Opportunities, Right Time.” Through its online portal (www.ncs.gov.in), NCS enables job seekers, employers, skill providers, career counselors, and government departments to register and interact. The portal offers job matching services in a transparent and user-friendly manner, along with career counseling content accessible through various channels such as career centers, mobile devices, and Common Service Centres.
