DBT Bharat

DBT Bharat, or Direct Benefit Transfer Bharat, may refer to the extension or continuation of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme in India. The DBT is an initiative launched by the Government of India on January 1, 2013, with the aim of reforming the subsidy delivery system. The key objective of DBT is to transfer subsidies directly to the beneficiaries through their bank accounts, eliminating intermediaries and reducing leakages in the system.
