IIM Rohtak was established in the year 2010 as one of the six new IIMs announced under the 11th Five Year Plan. It offers mainly five courses, an Integrated Programs in Management (IPM), Integrated Program in Law (IPL), the Post-Graduate Program (PGP) in Management, Executive Post Graduate Program for Executives (EPGPX) and Doctoral Program in Management (DPM).

Peacock represents the exuberance and pride in IIM Rohtak’s vision to be a global leader, while the Sanskrit words which read ‘Management through knowledge and values’ signify IIM Rohtak’s mission of knowledge diffusion, social commitment and value system (or corporate governance).
Green circle represents the nature and environment that is fundamental to society’s progress and human happiness, whereas the red circle represents the vibrancy of the youth that energizes education and sustains the progress of society.
The white color in the logo represents the underlying sense of purpose and the goal of social progress, while the open book signifies knowledge creation and dissemination.
